Woestenberg Metaalbewerking stylishly illuminates the new building with subtly integrated LED strips and custom-made track spotlights.
Light, space and history in balance
Woestenberg Metalworking is a metalworking company specializing in sheet metal work, mechanical engineering, and laser cutting of steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. They opted for LED lighting for the construction of their new building. In collaboration with design studio Carl van Kuijck Berla LED solutions have been used in the office environment in Rijsbergen.
The stairs are beautifully illuminated by LED strips embedded in the concrete. This makes the light visible, but you don't look directly at the light source.
Track spotlights, specifically developed for this company, have been used in the canteen and office. The ceiling in these spaces features a recessed groove into which the track is integrated. By adding a high "leg," only the spotlight extends below the ceiling.
