This historic building in the heart of Maastricht underwent extensive renovations, seamlessly blending history with modern comfort. The owner opted for a contemporary interior design that still beautifully showcases the original elements. For example, the robust wooden roof trusses are subtly accentuated by the sleek white stucco and carefully placed modern lighting, creating a warm yet refined ambiance.
Upon entering, the custom-made black ring with integrated spotlights immediately catches the eye. This striking eye-catcher not only emphasizes the design of the frame behind it but also provides soft, atmospheric lighting in the hallway. Combined with the other design choices, this creates a harmonious whole where classic charm and modern design complement each other perfectly.
